How To Use The Big Burl

Make Your Marketplace Work For You to Save Time and Money

Organize Your Inventry and Sell More Product

Mill up your slabs, take your photos, write a quick description, and post them. Once they're posted, they're up for sale. You can send your businesses page to clients so they can see your full inventory of products. Once something sells, you can take it down to keep your inventory up to date.

Why Subscription Fees?

The Big Burl is for people who are ready to invest in their lumber business. If it was free, the site would be a mess of junk from people's backyard. We want this to be a place where buyers know they can come to find a quality product.

We Market Your Site

The Big Burl is the future of small business lumber sales. Period. You do what you do best, and let us do what we do best. Your subscription fees will be paying for a customized marketing platform built specifically for your business.

Why Not Make My Own Site?

The Big Burl is your site. You can give your site link to potential buyers directly so they can search your inventory. Plus, you get the benefit of being in The Big Burl main search page where buyers will be looking without ever needing to message you to see what you have.

The Big Burl

The Big Burl was founded to support blue collar workers. I own a furniture shop in Carbondale, Colorado and found that sourcing the specialty wood products we needed was difficult. We work hard at our shop to support the family owned small businesses around the country, but finding these businesses was a problem. Now there is The Big Burl. It's a place where we can all support and grow our businesses together. I designed this site to help small businesses organize their inventory and put their products in front of buyers (like my shop in Colorado). Give it a try. Reach out if you don't like it. We are here to make it work for all of us. Jason Caudill - Co Founder of The Pika Woodshop
